The Dooars area in North Bengal is severly impacted by the Human Elephant Conflict. There is loss of human lives, property, crop etc as well as elephant lives. As this issue remains unresolved we have volunteered to initiate and make this an impactful movement.

We studied the geography and had multiple need assessment sessions with locals across the region. This led us to understand the ground level reasons behind the human elephant conflict along with the practical solutions giving relief. To also scientifically validate the information we collaborated with the forest department on technical aspects.

As on date we have implemented two measures listed below in a time bound manner which have provided massive relief to the villagers towards precious lives and assets.
