In October 2025 Spenta Foundations veterinary team permanently stationed at Jaldapara National Park was involved in a multi-agency operation involving hundreds of forest staff, police, and local organizations successfully located, tranquilized, and transported 11 greater one-horned rhinos that were swept away from Jaldapara National Park by flash floods. The mission, called 'India's largest coordinated rhino rescue release operation', required extensive coordination over three weeks.
